a clean line
No surprise that I am a bug fan of Narciso Rodriguez, who does graphic simplicity like no one else, and it always amazes me how he finds imaginative ways of exploring this theme. Some designers explore construction of a garment without any regard for the actual person wearing it, but Mr Rodriguez's designs are always flattering and look like a joy to wear - that beige coat is a dream. I want to examine all the inserts of fabric and the seam and see how it fits over the body - the form-fitting quality feels almost athletic, but elegant. The bursts of neon were a great punchy touch too. It is not the most relaxed of styles but it didn't feel rigid or too austere either. I am gushing.
