"life, london, this moment of June"

It's not June. I know that. But I was re-reading one of my favourite books - The Hours by Michael Cunningham - and I suddenly felt a bit nostalgic for the time I spent in London last year in June.

So I looked through my photos and decided just to post a couple of my favourite shots, seen through the swooning eyes of a tourist.

In people’s eyes, in the swing, tramp, and trudge; in the bellow and the uproar; the carriages, motor cars, omnibuses, vans, sandwich men shuffling and swinging; brass bands; barrel organs; in the triumph and the jingle and the strange high singing of some aeroplane overhead was what she loved; life; London; this moment of June.

I love that book too.
