can we celebrate

The week wound down rather miserably, thanks to the arrival of my Great Annual Cough. A very bright star appeared this morning, when one of my dearest friends informed she is now engaged to be married to her boyfriend of 8 years. I wish her the greatest possible happiness, as well as sanity in preparing for the wedding.
