top heavy

One of the silhouettes I liked from the fall collections was the slim trousers with a boxy top shape at Stella McCartney. It had a nice, clean, graphic form, and it suits my taste for slim, taper trousers.

When I saw my sister's top (purchased in Thailand from a label called December No.5), I thought it was a great way to give this shape a try. Boxy doesn't always work on me since I'm broad-shouldered.



This top has a great shape - structured but comfy. It's has clean, rounded shoulders and the slightly stiff fabric is perfect for the shape. Also, the holes are perfect for warm weather - they catch the breeze really well. I also like the horizontal "stripes".
