I really should wait until I can take better pictures of this wonderful shirt, but I just had to express the thrill I experienced over lunch - of buying the navy shirt at last. I tried one in cotton but it lacked the lustre of the silk, and in the end, silk won, concerns over its practicality in tropical weather aside.

Beautiful shirt, navy works so well in silk I find - it look so rich/saturated. Love the washed silk too.

Ammu: Yes, the trousers are from Massimo Dutti. So is the shirt. I need to learn to shop elsewhere.

Victoria: I agree about navy silk, it should be done more often. Washed silk is beautiful and practical too, easy to clean.

If Jane: Thanks! I took as a good sign that the trousers I wore was a good fit with the shirt.

Aissa: I hope this shirt is the end of it, but I saw some nice bags too. Argh.

Pret a Porter P: Thanks! I'm growing to love these pants very much as well, incredibly comfortable. I do wonder if I will tire of the shape...

Hi Lin, thanks for asking...yes I will be very shortly. I have a million ideas for posts and could really do with getting back on track with it as it keeps me accountable. Especially seeing as my autumn/winter wishlist is getting out of hand! Victoria.
