taking note

I don't actually want or need a new bag. But happened on this Mulberry hand clipper while surfing the net, and it's beautiful.

If I were planning to buy an everyday bag, I would buy this -- seemingly so functional, classic, unobstrusive in design, luxurious and somehow rugged looking at the same time. It reminds me of the Louis Vuitton SC bag by Sofia Coppola I quite liked, but slouchier and a lot more "me".
Maybe I'll see how I feel at the end of the year -- this is apparently a classic design that they stock every season, so presumably no worries that it won't be there if I decide I want it.

The strap is actually my least favourite part, would prefer leather but webbing has its practical advantages.
this is slouchier than the LV version? i was thinking the opposite.
The LV is more "framed", so it stands a little more upright.
