on the road: budapest

This week on "start the week elsewhere", I'm back in Budapest, Hungary, 2007. Budapest was pure magic, where the echoes of the past still drown out the pulse of modernity - it's in that strange in-between place, and it made me feel like I was walking around in a dream.
