flying the flag

Magazine: US Vogue May 2010
Photographer: Mario Testino
I was all *groan* SJP on the cover again, and not even a good one at that, but then I was sold on this Daria Werbowy editorial and bought the issue.

Looks very much like an older Paris Vogue ed with Raquel Zimmerman, but I like it anyway. To me, this sort of classic look is always love celebrating and this one is particularly well-done.

Yes I think I know the editorial you're referring to, similar but still very different. This is fantastic! I love how classic it is. Makes me wish beiges and camels looked good on me. I especially LOVE the 4th one.

Yes I know exactly what you mean about beiges and camels, I don't look so great in them either. And it's hard to find the exact right shade and they can look so cheap in the wrong fabric.

I also wish I could pull off wide-leg trousers (like you can!), they just don't flatter me, especially when I also don't wear heels and they look better with heels.
