Nobody really needs two striped cardigans. But because my sisters and my mum went to Seoul without me, and want to remind me that they love me, I get two.

Oh, and I also get an awesome new messenger bag, perfect for travelling.

I wasn't planning to get one so soon since my present bag is holding up. But my sister snapped it up for me at the Seoul airport because it's S$100 LESS than in Singapore. Longchamp is ridiculously overpriced here.

When it comes to gifts, excess is an exception ;) Also great job for your mom and sister knowing what you like! I really dislike getting gifts because people usually get it completely wrong.

Ammu: Thanks! I got to break it in the past weekend, and happily enough it is as functional as it looks.

-h: Definitely have been on the receiving end of questionable gifts, I keep them in a special section of my closet. Maybe I should do a post on them...

enc: Thanks! My family does have a knack for picking out useful things for me.

Anonymous: My sister bought it for about S$230, it's over S$300 in Singapore.
;) for a nylon bag, longchamp is overpriced every where. but their design is pretty great. i am contemplating jumping ship though and looking into an llbean tote. still couldn't beat the lightness of longchamp though, and i love the color of yours...you got great gifts!

Haha yes, can't disagree with you about the prices, I've somehow managed to stop rationalising that over the years. Their usability and how they make things easier does make up a lot for it. Did you buy one in the end? What colour is it?
