ooooh shiny

I realise I do not gravitate towards a sequinned trim, or a sprinkle of glitter - I go the whole hog and opt for full-on razzle dazzle. I like my sequins completely covering an item to form a glimmering surface that ripples when you move, something that looks wet and even, like piece of fabric with texture. Like this Chanel resort '09 jacket. It will look fabulous with my favourite navy knit dress, or a pair of skinny jeans, or a pair of black shorts. I'll be hitting my favourite thrift store ever this weekend, so maybe they'll sell something delightfully tacky like this that I can rework into something wearable.
