brave new world

Perhaps I should get out my ballet flats/sneakers/flip flops shoe rut and brave something new. Like the uber of-the-moment (for some time now) gladiator sandals, which have finally trickled down to the masses and is now seen at every mass-market chain store. Now I haven't had a reason to step into Topshop for some time now, but now that they've decided to stop making neon/glittery things, it's safe to venture in again, especially when they've done a sandal that soundly beats the rest -



It's basically my answer to the heavy/chunky-shoe look which I've long been admiring (I like the platforms, though not the more insane ones).
