the wedding march
I know this makes me sound tragically shallow, but I truly believe these dresses are worth getting married for. Alber Elbaz's quartet of wedding dresses in his resort collection for Lanvin convinced me of a few things - a) cream is better than white; b) short is cooler than long, and no less classic c) streamlined is better than poofy ball skirts; d) but long skirts are okay if they're delicately tiered and worn with a fragile blouse. Oh, and veils make anything look wedding-y, so a killer veil is probably more important than a killer dress. Who cares about the groom?
