there isn't much going on in my life

Well, there is a lot of whining and bitching about work, but I'm tired of that.

So, on to happier things - I bought new glasses; I am finally rid of my dented old frames which my mother always said made me look like the struggling student I was when I bought them. I am still struggling now, but with nicer glasses.
