This one is easy. I could write an essay about this one. Bought in 2006, it is still the most expensive garment I own, and it cured me of my denim fix for a long time, before I succumbed again (I like variation in jeans the way people like variation in tops, or dresses or whatever rings people's bells). I wore them almost every day, and still wear them at least twice a week, and when I go on vacation I bring these, because they suit every mood. They are made of the softest denim I've ever felt, and they started life pretty straight and slim, but now it's more like slouchy slim, and I loved its evolution at every stage. They are flattering. They are hardy (saddle stitched!). They are comfortable (I slept on trains in these).
