rumpled shirts

inspiration - tomboy5

Inspiration behind today's outfit. The Zara shirt I have on is a favourite favourite favourite shirt. I don't need to feel particularly inspired to wear this shirt, but sometimes what I choose to wear is informed by some of the images I have floating in my head. And it adds to the pleasure.

Lovely shirt. I find it's often more fun getting dressed when you have certain limitations in your head.

I really like the cuffed jeans with this look. It's such a girly blouse and the flats with the cuffed jeans really make the look a little more sophisticated.

Really pretty. Although it's simple you can tell thought has gone into the tiny details.

Alexandra: It can be fun to dress with an idea in your head, but it can also make you want to shop!

0000: Thanks! I've been cuffing my jeans a lot and I'm wondering when I will tire of it, haha.

Kate, Susanna, Lindsay K: Thanks!

such a lovely shirt! It reminds me of Chloe from several years back (perhaps this was inspired by those Chloe looks).

miss sophie: Thanks! I agree that walking feeling inspired is definitely a psychological boost - it actually made me feel better over the crappier part of my day.

Pret a Porter P, Ginta, Milly: Thanks!

S: I often think Zara's favourite brand to "take inspiration"from is Chloe, and now, Céline. Which works for people with shallow wallets like me...

This is a great outfit. I love how easy/breezy this shirt is. It's so perfect for the warmer summer months. Those shoes are fantastic too!

Ammu, Nanashi: I found it a little matchy matchy, but the shoes were too comfy for me to change out of them.

Jennifer, If Jane: Thanks!
