I love the sleepy, washed-out colours and the mood it evokes in this Bottega Veneta ad campaign for spring/summer 2010. (My least favourite are the expressions of the male model, they really throw the images off). I like the way they look a little faded but not like they're deliberately trying to look nostalgic or romantic. Looking at these, I can feel the warmth of the late afternoon sun, and the sense of it receding with evening about to slip in.

bv does not get the attention they deserve, for product or advertising, but that is probably part of their appeal to their loyal customers. beautiful ads.
