Today, I was hit abruptly by a serious case of wanderlust. This happens about every three months.

May I suggest New Zealand.....seeing that you're using a Lord of the Rings quote. We had a wonderful and magic 3 wks. there late in 2009. Highly recommend it! You may not want to come back!

Yep, the Lord of the Rings has always invoked travel and adventure to me. Thanks for the suggestion! Interestingly, a friend is moving to New Zealand and getting married, so a visit there is definitely on the cards sooner or later.

Oh. Bhutan has been on my list for a while now. The tariffs for travel there have put me off and so I an focusing on the -Stan countries for now.
