rainy weather = tights

It hasn't stopped hoards of people from doing so, but personally, I've always felt that tights look slightly strange when worn in sunny, sticky Singapore because it's sort of a "winter" look. Even though it doesn't really feel that hot wearing them. But I happen to love tights. So I love it when the days become rainy and cool so that I can wear them without feeling like vaguely pretentious. It's just a weird hang-up I have. I also notice that I'm wearing the navy sweater I wore the last time it was rainy and chilly like this. So I guess this means that when it comes down to it, weather (not moods, trends, influences etc) plays a major role in what I feel like wearing every day.
