I have a lot of ideas of how I would like to dress, and doubtlessly I've posted endless images to this effect, but the above cocktail ensemble from Lanvin is truly a mental image of mine brought to life. From the chunky knit cardigan to the loose but controlled fit of the dress to the colours to the dusty twinkle of the jewelled belt - it's perfection.

In fact, the whole collection is sort of an inspiration for me because "undone" is how I like my elegance. The pieces are quite simple looking but they're in a way that all coolly beautiful and restrained and sort of polished but not untouchable. Lovely.
