a funny thing happened...

...when I wore these jeans on Friday. Unexpectedly, it was that time of the month. Nothing embarrassing happened but I think maybe I'll reconsider my airy declaration in my post about white jeans being low maintenance. I sure as hell felt pretty paranoid all day.

Great outfit! I like the layered tank and the fit of the trousers.
That time of the month even when I stay away from light colors I still feel a bit awkward and very self conscious.

it leaves me paranoid, too. but I love your outfit! the bit of looseness of the silouette keeps it very casual and airy. love the layered look on top, too!

I love the look and the idea of white jeans, but I'm way too fearful about stains to wear them. Mostly for fear of what my son will spill on them. But they look so good on you, you wear them well.

clementine, fleurette, son, t, kate: Thanks! White is one of my favourite colours to wear,and I find it easy and versatile to create outfits around.

caroline, S, miss sophie, jennifer: I am not especially careful with food stains either, so all my white clothes are machine-washable and not too fragile. Also, I've become really good at getting small stains out quickly with timely intervention, though.

Pret a Porter P, Nanashi, Aissa: Thanks! I wear a lot of my tanks like that because I like to buy them loose, but obviously they don't look too decent without a light tank to layer under.

I also like how you layer your tanks. You look modest, but the look is still cool and crisp.
