Suffice to say, I like riffs on classic stuff. Hence, I like the concept of the Gap Design Editions, even in reality, getting up-and-coming designers to come with her version of a Gap classic hasnt always worked.


I posted about the sneak peek of the Vena Cava dress here, and was thrilled to spot more of the collection on Design Scene (shot by Craig McDean for Gap). It seems like a successful match between the duo's aesthetic with Gap's, and can't wait to check this out when it arrives in stores. The biggest turn-off of Gap things are the quality, so it remains to be seen whether the designs are well-executed and impessive enough in person to be worth forking money over.
